SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS
As part of our mission at The Indigo Girls Group we aim to empower young women in a variety of ways, including providing opportunities to celebrate young women who are agents of change within their communities. We also believe that this ability can be fostered and encouraged in girls from a young age. We plan to offer a variety of scholarships, awards and project funds for girls and women involved with the Indigo Girls community.
The IGG Scholarship
Meet our 2018/2019 winner Viktorija Burcul!
The Indigo Girls Group is excited to be offering a scholarship to a current Indigo Girls Group volunteer. This scholarship will be awarded to an Indigo Girl member who embodies being an Indigo Girl in her everyday life.
Eligibility
-
Currently enrolled in a full-time Canadian University or College program
-
Currently an active IGG volunteer (exception: those on the board of directors are not eligible)

Under 29 years of age
Nomination Process
Self-nomination or nomination from a current Indigo Girls Volunteer.
To nominate yourself or a fellow Indigo Girls volunteer please e-mail info@indigogirlsgroup.com with the title “IGG Scholarship Nomination” and include their full name, Indigo Girl branch, e-mail and phone number by November 10th, 2018.
Selection Criteria
This scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria;

The IGG Passion Project Fund
Meet our 2018/2019 winners Bracelets for School Supplies!
The Indigo Girls Group is excited to be offering a ($300) fund to a current Indigo Girls Group Girl’s Club attendee to fund their passion project. This fund will be awarded to an IGG girls club member who proposes an passion project as an agent for change.
Eligibility

Currently enrolled in a IGG Girl’s club

Be between the ages of 10-15 years old
Application Process
To apply complete the application form and e-mail to info@indigogirlsgroup.com with the title “IGG Passion Project Fund Application” by January 30th, 2019.
